4.3 Extension call and outgoing call
[Extension call]
After extension off-hook, operator will hear dialing tone, then dial the called
extension number.
[Outgoing call]
After extension off-hook, operator will hear extension dialing tone, then dial
outgoing office number of exterior to select line, operator will hear exterior dialing
tone, then dial the called number.
The selected exterior line shall meet the following characteristics:
The grouping of exterior line is the same as extension line.
The outgoing office number of exterior line is the same as the extension dialed.
The exterior port is currently open and idle
[Outgoing call by specified exterior line]
After extension off-hook, then dial #4 and the exterior port number (for example,
#401). When operator hears exterior dialing tone, then dial the called number.
When using the specified outgoing function, the extension can select the exterior
line when it is open and idle, regardless of the grouping and outgoing office number.
[Call transfer]
During the call, tap the fork spring, or press the R key or flash key, after hearing
the dialing tone, dial the called extension number. Operator can see the fifth chapter
for the detailed description.
[Call back when Busy]
Extension dial the called number, if the target is busy. Operator can on-hook first,
then off-hook next. After off-hook, then dial #65 and the target extension number, and
then on-hook and wait. When the target is idle, system will call operator and the target
extension. Both parties off-hook the phone and start talking.
Notice:
if off-hook while waiting for call back, the registration status will be cleared.
