5.6 Universal output
The universal output can also be used as a USB interface (for USB6300 interface
adapter) or as an analogue output (0 ... 1 V). If the output is not required, it should be
deactivated (
Out oFF
) since this strongly reduces the battery usage.

CAUTION!
Only suitable adapter cable is permitted (WIKA accessory)!
5.6.1 USB interface
With a USB6300 galvanically isolated interface converter (WIKA accessory), the
instrument can be connected directly to a USB interface of a PC. The transmission
is made in a binary-coded format and is protected against transmission errors by an
extensive safety mechanism (CRC).
As operation and evaluation software for the integrated logger function, GSOFT software
is suitable.
5.6.2 Analogue output
At the universal output connector, an analogue voltage of 0 ... 1 V can be tapped (setting
Out dAC
).
With
DAC
.
0
and
DAC
.
1
the analogue output can be easily scaled.
It must be ensured that the analogue output is not loaded too heavily, otherwise the
output value can be corrupted and the power consumption of the instrument increases
correspondingly. Loads up to approx. 100 kΩ are harmless.
If the display exceeds the value set with
DAC
.
1
, then 1 V will be output.
If the display drops below the value set with
DAC
.
0
, then 0 V will be output.
