Warranty
We grant a 2-year warranty for our appliances in accordance with the statu-
tory provisions of the country in which the appliance was purchased.
This applies to all faults caused by material flaws or poor workmanship.
This warranty obligation does not cover:
Wear parts such as e.g. gaskets, valves or grinding rings and cones.

Damage caused by failure to observe the required cleaning and des-

caling intervals.
Damage caused by the use of other cleaning or descaling agents than

those recommended by the manufacturer.
Appliance used other than for normal purposes in private households,

e.g. for commercial purposes or use on public or commercial premises.
Appliances not commissioned correctly or used for their intended
●
purpose in accordance with the operating instructions, e.g. filling with
other liquids than clean water, use of sugar-coated beans, foreign mat-
ter in the coffee bean container, etc.
Appliances opened and/or manipulated by unauthorised persons.

These wear parts and damage excluded from the warranty will be repla-
ced/repaired by your WIK Service department against refund of the costs.
The warranty period begins with the original date of purchase. Claims can
only be made under warranty if the original invoice or proof of purchase is
submitted with the defective appliance.
Claims made under warranty do not prolong the statutory warranty peri-
od.
