Operation and function
Remove the jug from under the steam nozzle.
WARNING
Risk of scaling from splashing hot milk!
Switch off the steam nozzle before you remove the jug with the

foamed milk.
Quit steam mode by pressing button (B) or wait approx. 60 seconds
until the appliance switches automatically back to the selection menu
(coffee mode) and the display goes out. The appliance is now ready
for coffee preparation again. The last coffee/espresso setting selected
appears on the display.
NOTE
Always allow hot water to run through the nozzle briefly after fo-

aming the milk. Turn the rotary switch "hot water/steam" (17) to po-
sition
. This is recommended so that any milk residues cannot
dry inside the nozzle and clog the nozzle. Use a suitable collecting
vessel for this. Then turn the rotary switch back to position . The
last coffee/espresso setting selected appears on the display.
To clean the foaming attachment, proceed as follows:
