Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.
MAGNETRON THERMISTOR FC THERMOACTUATOR
Refer to page 4-27 for the procedure for ac-
cessing the magnetron thermistor.
1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect
power.
2. Disconnect the thermistor connector from
the relay control board.
3. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1K scale.
4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the
thermistor connector pins. The me-
ter should indicate 10 KΩ ±5% @ 77
°
F
(25
°
C).
Refer to page 4-27 for the procedure for ac-
cessing the FC thermoactuator.
1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect
power.
2. Disconnect one of the wires from the
thermoactuator terminals.
3. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1K scale.
4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the
thermoactuator terminals. The meter
should indicate 1.2 K ±0.5 KΩ.
