Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.
GRILL ELEMENTS GRILL THERMOSTAT
Refer to page 4-24 for the procedure for ac-
cessing the grill elements.
1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect
power.
2. Disconnect one of the wires from the grill
element terminals.
3. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the
element terminals. The meter should in-
dicate as follows:
Halogen Grill Element = 2 ±1 Ω
Softstart Quartz Element = 6 ±2 Ω
Quartz Grill Heater = 29 ±5 Ω
Refer to page 4-24 for the procedure for ac-
cessing the grill thermostat.
1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect
power.
2. Disconnect one of the wires from the
thermostat terminals.
3. Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the
thermostat terminals. The meter should
indicate a closed (0

) circuit.
