REMOVING THE CAVITY LAMP AND
THE HOOD/LIGHT SWITCH BOARD
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect
power.
2. Lift the two tabs and remove the center air
flow screen from the top of the cabinet.
3. To remove the cavity lamp socket:
a) Remove the T10 torx screw from the
cavity lamp cover.

b) Remove the clip from the cavity lamp
socket and remove the lamp and socket.

4. To remove the hood/light switch board:
a) Lower the bottom cover (see page 4-2
for the procedure).
b) From the bottom of the oven, remove
the two screws and flat washers from
the hood/light switch board.
