Troubleshooting & Diagnostic:
The appliance does not cool at all
Note: Be sure that compressor work properly
and pressure in the cooling cycle is ok before to proceed.
Possible reason:
The thermo-fuse is open.
At every plug in, the product starts with the “defrost phase” and if the fuse or the defrost-heater are in
“open circuit” condition, the appliance remains in that state.
Procedure how to check if the thermo-fuse is good:
1. Unplug the appliance
2. Remove the rear panel
3. Open the main control board box
4. Disconnect
only
the 12-pole connector.
With a multimeter check the ohm value between the two following points:
Blue wire (Pin 1) of the 12-pole connector (disconnected) and brown wire (Pin 1) of the
16-pole connector (connected).
Between the two points we have to found the ohm value of the defrost-heater
(for R134a it’s 83-94
/ for
R600a it’s 172-201
)
.
If the result is “open circuit”, that means the thermo-fuse is defect or there exist a bad connection
or a wire problem. Check the connectors and the wires.
16-pole connector
Pin 1 brown cable.
12-pole connector
Pin 1 blue cable.
Resistant value must be:
For R134a appliances:
between 83
and 94
!
For R600a appliances:
between 172
and 201
!
