Built-in Test
Starting from April 2006 production
, the following Built-in Test can be engaged in order to
verify the following appliance’s components:
Refrigerator and Freezer probes
Evaporator fan
Condenser/Compressor fan
Damper / Air baffle
Water valve / Paddle switch
Evaporator heater de-frost
Ice valve / Relay K005 (only Value Line with Ice-maker Sankyo appliance)
Ice maker probe (only Value Line with Ice-maker Sankyo appliance)
Built-in Test activation
The Built-in Test can be engaged within 15 minutes since Power-up.
To engage the procedure the freezer door switch shall be pressed 3 times consecutively within
10 seconds maximum.
Built-in Test de-activation
The Built-in Test can be disengaged with one of the following events:
1. Appliance power off
2. 1 hour from the engagement elapsed (1 hour time-out)
3. The same operation to engage the Test procedure is executed again (freezer door
switch pressed 3 times consecutively)
Note:
Following a Built-in Test de-activation it is not possible to activate the Built-in Test again
unless to unplug the appliance and then power it up again.
Appliance setting during Built-in Test
After a Built-in Test activation the Core Board will be set as following:
All the loads will be switched OFF included the evaporator heater de-frost
The set-points will be set to default value (-18°C, +5°C not visualized on User Interface)
The Core Board will refuse every User Interface command
The User Interface Freezer display (2 digits) will display the code related to the running
Tests while the Fridge display (1 digits) will display the code related to not
passed/completed Tests.
