– The machine is to be fitted with a type H

circuit breaker for a rated current of 10 A
or a 10 A fuse link.

2.3 Organisational points

It is the responsibility of the operator to ensure
that:
– the machine is used only by personnel who

have been instructed in its handling and
authorised to use it.

– the recognised occupational safety

regulations are observed.

– any further national or international com-

pany regulations are observed.

– all users are acquainted with the safety

regulations and trained in the use of the
specific machine.

– all users have read and understood the

operating instructions.

– responsibilities for the operation, mainte-

nance and repair of the machine are clearly
assigned and observed.

– faults and damage are immediately notified

to the Wetrok Service Agent.

2.4 Emergencies

In the case of an emergency:
– Pull out the mains connector plug.
– Immediately apply recognised first-aid

measures.

After incidents,

do not resume operation

with the machine

 until it has been inspected

by Wetrok.

2.5 Operating for the first time

Delivery, instruction on safety rules, handling
and maintenance, as well as operation for the
first time is normally carried out by a specialist
approved by Wetrok.
Where this is not the case, the operator is
responsible for instructing the users.

Further safety instructions concerning
operating and maintenance are detailed
in the relevant sections and must be
complied with!

3. Operating

3.1 Safety instructions

– Whilst in operation, caution is to be

exercised in respect to third parties,
especially children.

– When cleaning and servicing the machine

or changing parts, pull out the mains
connector plug.

Make sure that the power supply cable is in a
serviceable condition.

Warning:

Ensure that the power supply cable

is not damaged by being run over, crushed or
dragged alone.

3.2 Operating

Preparation

Make sure that the voltage indicated on the
identification plate is the same as that availa-
ble in the building. The machine has double
insulation and has no earth wire.

Preparations for work
Dry vacuuming with paper filter bag

(Fig C+F)
The Wetrok Duovac 18/25/34 can be fitted
with a paper filter bag.
Fitting the paper filter bag: Unfold paper filter
bag (C2). Pull the rubber flange (F1) from
below on to the suction connection (F2) and
press it firmly against the suction tank wall.
Insert protective filter (C1). Mount suction head

so that the mains cable is routed opposite the
connector. Assemble suction hose, hand pipe
and nozzle.

Use only original Wetrok paper filter bags.

Dry vacuuming without paper filter bag

(Fig E)
When dry vacuuming without paper filter bag,
fit the special filter bag (E2) with the water
suction device (E1).

Wet vacuuming

(Fig. D)

Fit water suction device (D1 ) in place of the
paper filter bag and the protective filter. Fit
water suction nozzle to the hand pipe.

Duovac 50

The Duovac 50 is equipped with 2 suction
motors; 1 or 2 motors can be switched on
according to the required performance.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Safety instructions

– When cleaning and servicing the machine

or changing parts, pull out the mains
connector plug.

– The machine must not be cleaned with

high pressure steam cleaners or powerful
liquid jets.

– For reparations use only original Wetrok

spare parts.

Important:

Before commencing any mainten-

ance work, switch off the machine and unplug
it from the mains.

Emptying dust

Replace the paper filter bag as soon as it is
2/3 full. When working without paper filter bag,
empty the suction tank regularly. At each
emptying, thoroughly clean the protective filter
by beating or brushing. If possible, use another
vacuum cleaner.

Emptying water

When the tank is full, the high positioned float
interrupts the suction flow. Take out the water
suction device and empty the waste water
tank.

The water suction device has always to
be installed tor wet vacuuming.

Wipe the outer surface of the machine,
especially the mains cable, from time to time
with a damp cloth.

5. Corrective

maintenance

We recommend that repairs and inspections
are carried out by the Wetrok Service Agent. A
maintenance agreement is available.

5.1 Fault-finding and rectification

Dry vacuuming:

– Paper filter bag or suction tank overfilled?
– Suction pipe, suction hose or nozzle

obstructed?

– Protective filter coated with dust?

The suction motors of Duovac 50 are provided
with a thermal overload switch, which shuts off
the motors automatically if they overheat. It
switches the motors on again as soon as they
have cooled off.

Wet vacuuming:

– Float sticking to valve aperture?
– Use of a too strongly foaming detergent,

causing float to respond too early?

– Water suction device not correctly positio-

ned?

– No effective sealing between the suction

head and the suction tank?

6. Storage

The machine is to be stored dry and under
normal room conditions.

7. Disposal

Disposal ot packaging must take place accor-
ding to natioral regulations.
