Specifies the delay time
required – after the entry of
the escape sequence – for
the modem to recognize
the escape sequence as
valid. The guard time also
dictates how quickly the
escape characters must be
entered, since the interval
between each entry of the
three characters must be
of shorter duration than
that specified for the guard
time. The value can range
between 0–255, the unit
corresponds to 0.02 sec.
In case of s12 = 0,
the guard time after +++ is
1 sec, no guard time check-
ing between the +’s is done.
This is the default value.
