18.7.3. Easy Chord 1
This is a very simply (though limited) use of the auto-accompaniment, but which, despite its
simplicity, sticks to the rules of music, and only uses notes from the chord (like the WERSI
Single Finger Mode – but with fewer possibilities/variations).
You need to restrike the keys for every change in harmony!
Only the following harmonies are recognised when you play between 1 and 3 keys:
Major chord = root
e.g.: C =
C (= major); A= A major
Major 7th chord = root
+ 1 whole tone (= 2 semitones) below
e.g.: C2 + Bb1 = C7 or: A1 + G1 = A7
Minor chord = root + a minor 3rd (= 3 semitones) below
e.g.: C2 + Eb2 = cm or A1 + C2 = am
Minor 7th chord = root + a minor 3rd (= 3 semitones) above
+ 1 whole tone (= 2 semitones) below
e.g.: C2 + Eb2 + Bb1 = cm7
Major Maj7 chord = root
+ one semitone below
e.g.: C2 + B1 = Cmaj7 or: A1 + G#1 = Amaj7

This is another very simply (though limited) use of the auto-accompaniment, but one which,
because of the inclusion of dissonances (notes alien to the chord), makes it necessary to switch
off at least the sounds on Lower 1.
You need to restrike the keys for every change in harmony!
Major chord = root
e.g.: C =
C (= major); A= A major
7th chord = root + a white key to the left
e.g.: C2 + H1 or C2 + A1 = C7
Minor chord = root + a black key to the left
e.g.: C2 + Bb1 or C2 + Ab1 = cm
Minor 7th chord = root + a white key and a black key to the left
e.g.: C2 + B1 + Bb1 or C2 + Ab1+ G1 = cm7
