Each instrument has its own unique system code. Your instrument is
registered with WERSI under this number combination. With this code
you get the necessary activations for additional sound packs.
The OAS Software has already been activated in the factory with the
OAS serial number, without which the instrument cannot be used. In
the OAS serial number box, you can see the number combination, with
which the OAS software was activated. You also receive your
instrument’s unique OAS serial number with the guarantee
documents. You can request the code from WERSI at any time, should
you loose it.
The system code described above applies to all your instrument’s component parts
If any part (circuit boards, RAM, processor etc.) of your instrument is changed,
the system code changes and all activations are lost.
12.3.2. Software Update
WERSI is constantly working to improve and develop the OpenArt-System. Consequently, new
software versions, which you can receive on DVD from WERSI or download from our web site,
appear at irregular intervals.
Insert the software DVD or copy the data after downloading it into a folder on a USB memory
stick.
Push the DVD into the slot in drive until the DVD is automatically drawn in or plug the USB
stick into the instrument.
Press the Software Update button. The OAS software is closed and the installation begins.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
12.3.3. Restoring Factory Settings
This process will delete all your own data. This applies to Styles, MIDI sequences, audio files,
total presets and the general settings. On completion of this process, the instrument is in its as-
delivered condition.
Press the Factory Settings button.
Confirm with YES or NO . The factory settings are restored.
The activations for the OAS-Software and the additional extensions are not
affected!
Restoring the factory settings does not remove any possible software problems.
