3.2.
Connecting
1.
Connect the fixed cable of the supplied power control unit to the power input on the rear
of the instrument and plug it into a properly installed and fused
240V
socket.
Important: use only the original supplied power control unit.
If you connect the cable to a
switched
multi-gang extension lead, do
not
switch off the
multi-gang, before the instrument has completely shut down.
You do not have to disconnect from the mains after playing, although this is
recommended if the instrument is not to be used for a lengthy period or during thunder
storms to avoid damage from, for example, overloading caused by lightning.

Connect the instrument via the audio outputs to a loudspeaker system or sound mixer.
3.3.
Switching on and off
The On/Off touch button switch is situated on the upper left edge of the left control panel.
3.3.1.
Switching On
Press and release the On/Off button
the LED above the button come on
The instrument’s normal start-up procedure now begins.
The WINDOWS® operating system starts first, then the WERSI OAS
Music System automatically loads.
The start-up procedure has finished when the control panel buttons stop
flashing and the Main Display is visible on the touch screen.
Important:
if, for whatever reason, the instrument does not start up properly, a
different display will appear when you next try to switch on the instrument. For further
information, see 20.1 Failure in the Start-up Procedure.
