10. LUBRICATION

10�1 Safety instructions for lubrication

Take care not to damage sealing surfaces or sealing components when lubricating.

Only use WEH
®
Maintenance spray part no. E99-44923 for lubrication.

Î Give a short spray with the target tube between the hous-
ing and the piston on the connector top ( Figure 9 ).
Î
Give a short spray with the target tube between the hous-
ing and the piston on the connector bottom ( Figure 10 ).
Î Connect the WEH
®
Connector to a test piece a number of
times to distribute the lubricant.
Attention: The lubricant must not be allowed to enter the
gas channel.
Body size 4 to 7

Give a short spray with the target tube between the
housing and the piston at the clamping lever actuation
( Figure 11 ).
