Replacement of front seal (Pos� 7) for body size 3
Note:
When replacing the front seal (Pos. 7), check the two housing seals. If these items
are worn or damaged, replace them. Please refer to
Chapter 9.4.4 Replacement of housing
seals for body size 1 to 3 on page 31

Î
Move the
clamping lever (Pos. 2) to the
straight starting position.
Î
Clamp the connector in a vice
with plastic jaws.
Î
Unscrew the housing using a
hook wrench size 35-60.
Î
Remove the two washers and
the front seal (Pos. 7) from
the housing.
Note:
Hold the housing
straight when removing it so
that the clamping jaws can
not fall out and slip.
Î
Check the two housing seals
to see if they are damaged.
