Mount the new gearwheel. Being sure to center it evenly between the walls of the hole in the motor
bracket. Note that the core or center of the gear has splines (teeth). The splines do not extend
completely to one side of the gears inner core. This is the down (bottom) side in car position for
mounting (Figure 3.4.5).

Mount the new gearwheel housing.

Mount the SCU. Dropping the front of the SCU low enough for cable clearance slide forward, engage
lip of cable plate in SCU slot. Straighten SCU horizontally and tighten screw.
