SAFETY NOTICES
This is analytical laboratory equipment; please use the following laboratory practices:
Do not allow gas lines to become kinked or punctured.
Place lines away from foot traffic and extreme heat or cold.
Store gases in clearly-labeled cabinets.
Run all vents and exhaust lines external to the logging unit or work area.
NOTE
The CP-4900 is a laboratory grade instrument. As such it should be handled
with care to avoid excessive vibration and mechanical shock or impact.
NOTE
All stainless steel tubing used with the chromatograph should be
chromatograph grade.
NOTE
Do not touch the knobs on the back of the Baseline 8900. If they are adjusted,
the flow calibration will be incorrect and the instrument will have to be sent
back to Baseline for recalibration
NOTE
After powering the instrument down, wait a minimum of 30 seconds to power
the instrument up again. Failure to do so may cause damage to the
instrument
NOTE
Do not power on the Baseline 8900 without the proper support gases
connected. Doing so may cause damage to the instrument.
