BASELINE 8900 CALIBRATION
In order to calibrate the Baseline 8900, it should be setup just like normal operation except that a
calibration gas bottle with flow meter will be used instead of the sample line. This setup is shown in
Figure 12. The pressure on the regulator should be set to 10psi and the flow meter should be set to a
minimum of 3 SCFH. Allow the chromatograph to run several cycles with the calibration gas in order to
ensure that the reading has become steady. Once the reading has become steady, press the “stop at end
of sequence” button and turn off the calibration gas supply while performing the software calibration.

After the chromatograph has stopped running, go to “Edit” on the top menu and select “Curr. Method”
from the drop down menu as shown in Figure 13.
