Cleaning, maintenance and storage
The KICKWAY E1 requires regular maintenance. This section describes
the important steps and requirements associated with the maintenance
of your KICKWAY E1.
I.
Cleaning
•
Check that the power supply and charging cable of the KICKWAY
E1 have been disconnected.
•
Clean your KICKWAY E1 with a soft, dry cloth.
WARNING!
•
Your KICKWAY E1 is IPX4 certified. This means that it is
protected from splashes. However, it should not be immersed
in or sprayed with water. Therefore, never clean the KICKWAY
E1 with high-pressure water jets or immerse it in any liquid.
•
Do not allow water or other liquids to enter into the KICKWAY E1,
as this may cause irreversible damage to the electronic
components.
•
Your product would then be excluded from the warranty.
•
Cleaning and user maintenance of the scooter must not be
carried out by children without supervision.
II.
Maintenance
General recommendations
•
Do not make any modifications that are not specified by the
manufacturer.
•
Contact an approved workshop, such as Norauto/ATU/Auto 5.
Wheel and brake system maintenance:
•
Remember to apply lubricating oil regularly to both ends of the
brake cable to ensure its long life and proper functioning.
•
Check the front and rear wheels and hub carefully before using
the scooter. The wheels must not be damaged or punctured.
•
Check the brakes carefully before using the scooter.
•
In the event of a problem, contact the after-sales service to have
the wheels replaced.
