step 2: instAlling the eleVAtor Control horn
IMPORTANT
The elevator pushrod exit slot is on the right side of the fuselage. When installing the control horn in the next
procedure, it's important to install the control horn so that it's toward the bottom of the elevator and will be on the

the fuselage when the stabilizer assembly is mounted.
step 3: mounting the stAbiliZer Assembly
❑
Cut away the covering material from over the stabilizer mounting holes
in the fuselage and from over the top and bottom of the mounting holes in
the stabilizer.
❑
Apply a couple of drops of thin C/A into the stabilizer mounting holes in
the fuselage and let it dry completely.
IMPORTANT
Don't skip the next procedure. The C/A will harden the surrounding plywood, preventing the threads from stripping
when you install the machine screws.
❑
Mount the stabilizer to the fuselage, using the two M3 x 25mm machine
screws provided.
IMPORTANT
Be careful not to overtighten the machine screws or you'll
crush the stabilizer. The screws need only be tightened snugly.
