Heat/Cool SDAC High Signal

b

For a Serial DAC output, enter the high output signal level for the Serial DAC. The Serial DAC
converts 100 percent output from the controller to the value set here.
Enter the high and low values that match the input range of the output device. For instance, if the
output device has a 4 to 20mA input range, then set
SDAC hi signal
to
20mA
and set
SDAC low
signal
to
4mA
.
Values:
0.10 to 10.00VDC (10 to 1000) or 0.10 to 20.00mA (10 to 2000) This value must be greater
than the value of
SDAC low signal
. Values in parentheses are for communications.
Default:
10.00VDC (1000) or 20.00mA (2000)

Heat/Cool Action
l
01 Heat action
r
b
reverse
Choose the control action for the output. When the action is set to reverse, the output goes up when
the process variable goes down. When the action is set to
direct
, the output goes down when the
process variable goes down. Normally, heat outputs are set to reverse action and cool outputs are
set to direct action.
Values:
reverse
(0) or
direct
(1). Values in parentheses are for communications.
Default:
reverse
(0) for heat outputs,
direct
(1) for cool outputs

Heat/Cool Power Limit
l
01 Heat power
r
limit
b
100%
Use this parameter to limit the output power for a heat or cool output. This limit may be continuous,
or it may be in effect for the number of minutes specified at the next parameter.
The power limit only affects loops in automatic mode. It does not affect loops in manual mode.
Values:
0 to 100% (0 to 1000). Values in parentheses are for communications.
Default:
100% (1000)
