Installation
BRINE LINE CONNECTIONS
On all units, 3/8” O.D. x 1/4” I.D. brine line tubing must be
assembled at both the system control valve and the brine valve as
shown. The tubing is included in the brine tank.
Make sure the nylon insert is inside the ends of the plastic tube
when making the connection. Tighten up the compression nuts
firmly (tapered edge faces towards valve).
OVERFLOW CONNECTION
Install 1/2” I.D. tubing (not provided) to the brine tank overflow fitting
located on the side of the tank and run it to the drain. The brine
overflow is provided in case a situation should arise causing too
much water to be added to the brine tank. This drain connection will
carry the excess to the drain and prevent flooding of the floor. No
liability will or can be assumed by the manufacturer of the Reionator
Pro Ultra™ system should flooding occur
(See Figure 5).
Install the brine overflow tubing even if the brine tank used with
your Reionator Pro Ultra
™
includes a safety brine valve as a product
feature.
