GENERAL SERVICE HINTS FOR METER CONTROL

Problem:

Softener delivers hard water

Hard water delivered from the Reionator Pro Ultra™ may indicate that the unit has exceeded it’s reserve capacity.

Correction:

Check your water hardness and make sure that you have set the hardness correctly. Hardness set too low will cause

your Reionator Pro Ultra™ not to regenerate often enough.

Correction:

Check to ensure a good connection from the meter to the PC board on the Triton. Check for loose or broken wires

and reconnect to the PC board if necessary.

Correction:

Check the meter turbine to ensure that it rotates freely. Check for foreign matter in the meter shaft. Replace meter

if necessary.

Correction:

From the time of day screen on the Triton, press the NEXT button to see the softener usage. If there is a tap or hose bib nearby

that is connected to the system, place a 5-gallon bucket underneath and fill it. Check the capacity remaining to see if it has

decreased by 5 gallons. If not, replace the meter. If replacing the meter does not solve the problem, replace the PC board.
