Water balancing should be carried out as required to ensure water is balanced within the
following parameters. Within these tolerances, be balanced to the Langelier Saturation
Index within a range of -0.5 to +0.5.
When operating using hydrogen peroxide the following operating parameters are
recommended

Perox Pro (hydrogen peroxide) 100ppm - 300ppm
pH level 7.2 - 7.6
Total Alkalinity level 60ppm - 80ppm
Calcium Hardness 180ppm - 400ppm
Salinity (= total Pool salt & Mineral Crystals) For low salt
cell use*
2000ppm-3000ppm
Phosphate level Less than < 0.5ppm
Chlorine Dioxide 0.4ppm - 0.5 ppm
When operating on chlorine the following operating parameters are recommended:

More frequent testing may be required in periods of extremely high usage or significant
water dilution, and maintenance may be required.

8.1.2 Low levels of hydrogen peroxide
Low levels of hydrogen peroxide will fail to maintain a safe and pristine pool. Therefore,
always ensure that the levels are maintained at 100-150ppm.
8.1.3 Shock dose
From time to time, it is good practice to shock dose the pool with Perox Sanitiser. This
should ideally be done at the time of adding Perox Activate. Follow dose rates on the
container to achieve a 250ppm hydrogen peroxide level. Bathers should not swim whilst the
hydrogen peroxide level is above 450ppm.
