4.2 Servicing
4.2.1 Service Schedule
The appliance must be serviced at least annually or as indicated by the user interface controller
by a Warmflow Engineer or other competent Engineer. This is necessary in order to optimise
performance of the appliance and to ensure its efficiency and safety for the user.
Additionally, when servicing, special attention should be paid to the condition of the combustion
pot, cleaning knives and mechanisms, air turbulators, flue, door insulation, sealing rope, ash
pan, hopper door seal and auger assembly. If found to be defective, they must be replaced.
Prior to servicing the appliance, ensure it has been allowed to cool sufficiently, and has
been isolated from the mains electricity supply before commencing work.
The system corrosion inhibitor level must be checked (instant on-site test kits are available from
inhibitor manufacturers) and additional inhibitor must be added if the system is found to be
under-dosed. Refer to the inhibitor manufacturer for further guidance.
The below table is a typical list of service operations, and is not exhaustive.
