6.16 Transporting

• 

Fold up the splitter chute, and the lead-in and loader chutes. 
Insert the lynch pin for the splitter chute.

• 

Hook up the lead in chute lock arm and install latch pin.

• 

Clean the machine. Dirt and debris can fall off affecting 
other traffic. Remove any loose tools. 

• 

Make sure that the machine is securely attached to the tow 
unit with a retainer through the 3-point-hitch arms.

• 

Never allow riders on the machine.

• 

Plan your route to avoid heavy traffic. 

• 

Comply with state and local laws governing safety and 
transporting of machinery on public roads.

• 

Do not exceed a safe travel speed. Slow down for rough 
terrain and cornering.
