3-Phase Power Measurement Module, 1 A
5.4 Voltage Measurement
DANGER
Do not work on products while energized!
High voltage can cause electric shock or burns!
•
Disconnect all power sources from the product before performing any installation, re-
pair or maintenance.
DANGER
The voltage measurement transformer used must comply with IEC 61869!
If determination of the measurement topology indicates that voltage measurement trans-
formers must be used, the transformers must comply with the standard IEC 61869.
CAUTION
Use safety fuses in voltage paths!
To protect the voltage path against short circuit and overload, apply a safety fuse (0,5 A,
slow).
•
For applications in areas covered by UL, only safety fuses having a UL approval are
permitted for use.
Note
Use of voltage measurement transformers not verified for UL!
The use of voltage measurement transformers has not been verified for North America
(UL).
Please observe the following:
• Maximum voltage of the network to be measured (see
8
Measurements with Higher Voltages outside the scope of UL [
).
• Connection terminal N on the product is reference potential for all voltage inputs.
The power measurement module can be used to measure voltage.
To measure the voltages of a 4-wire 3-phase network, connect the four wires with con-
nection terminals L1, L2, L3 and N.
