The air conditioning system is drained completely by the vacuum pump. This is used to remove any remain-
ing carrier gases or moisture and to prepare the air conditioning system for the filling process. Any residual
refrigerant extracted which is still bonded in the refrigerant oil is collected by the A/C Service unit and recy-
cled.
