Removing and Installing the Combustion Head Assembly

Requirements

Machine shut down.

Burner cooled. Allow the machine to cool for a minimum of ten minutes.

Removal

Perform the procedure below to remove the combustion head.

1. Remove the screw

(a)

that secures the ignitior cover

(b)

to the top of the burner

and swing open the ignitor cover.

2. Loosen the fuel line coupling

(c)

at the elbow fitting. Let the fitting fall away from

the end of the tube.

3. Carefully lift and pull the combustion head assembly

(d)

out of the flame tube.

Result

The combustion head is removed.

This procedure continues on the next page.
