4.19 Emergency Stop Procedure
Background This machine is equipped with an emergency stop push button. When pressed, this
push button shuts down the machine and disconnects all power to the machine
controls.
NOTICE: Do not use the emergency stop push button for normal shutdown.
Procedure Perform the procedure below to stop the machine and lock out all power to the
controls during an emergency.
1. Press the emergency stop push button (a) .
2. Place all circuit breakers and switches in the OFF position.
Restarting the
machine Perform the procedure below to reset the machine and unlock the power to the
controls.
1. Pull out the emergency stop push button.
2. Restart the machine by following the normal starting procedures . See topic
Starting and Running the Machine.
