Installation Instructions
Warning:
Read the installation instructions before connecting the system to the power source.
Warning:
This equipment is intended to be used in a Restricted Access area, such as a cabinet
or a dedicated computer room. Access should only be allowed to SERVICE PERSONS
or USERS who have been instructed on proper handling of the device’s metal chassis,
which may become hot during operation. Further, access should be restircted through the
use of a key or secure identity system, to ensure only qualified personnel have access to
the restricted access area.
Warning:
Calculate the maximum possible electric current on each power wire and common wire.
Observe all electrical codes indicating the maximum current for each wire size. If a cur

rent goes above the maximum ratings, the wiring can become overheated, causing dam
-
ages to your equipment.

The system must be disconnected from all sources of power and the power cord re

moved from the power supply module(s) before accessing the chassis interior to install or
remove system components.
Warning:
Only trained and qualified personnel should be allowed to install, replace, or service this
equipment.

Installation of the equipment must comply with local and national electrical codes.
Warning:
Ultimate disposal of this product should be handled according to all national laws and
regulations.
Warning:
Do not run signal or communications wiring and power wiring in the same routing conduit.
Wires with different signal characteristics should be separately routed.
Warning:
The product is intended to be mounted on a properly grounded mounting surface, such
as a metal equipment panel.
Warning:
The product is designed to perform without a cooling fan. It is recommended that the
product is installed with at least a 5mm clearance on all sides for heat dissipation.
