PIXEL COMPENSATION 
Sometimes image sensors have defective pixels, this can be compensated in 

two different ways 

LIVE DPC, compensates the defective pixels in real time and STATIC 

DPC, detects the defective pixels with lens closed and saves the data for compensation

 

  

 

 

LIVE DPC compensates the defective pixels in real time where pixel amplitude 
exceeds the threshold.  
AUTO - Enables LIVE DPC and dynamically compensates the defective pixels 
whose amplitude exceeds the threshold calculated according to AGC. At low light, 
more defective pixels are compensated because the threshold becomes lower due 
to high AGC.
