Carefully read the operating instructions and
keep them for future reference.
iMportant saFety Measures
When using electrical appliances, basic safety
measures should always be followed, includ-
ing the following:
• Before you plug in the unit, make sure that
your home electricity supply corresponds
to the voltage of current specified on the
housing.
• Use the unit only for its intended purpos-
es.
• Always unplug the unit after usage.
• Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
• Do not keep the unit in places where it can
fall into a bath or a sink, filled with water.
• Do not use the unit while bathing.
• Never immerse the unit into water or other
liquids.
• If the unit fell into water, unplug it immedi-
ately, only after you can take it out of wa-
ter.
• Do not use the unit to straighten synthetic
wigs.
• Close supervision is necessary when chil-
dren or disabled persons use the unit.
• Place the power cord away from hot sur-
faces.
• Do not use the unit when you are drowsy.
• Avoid contact of hot surfaces with your
face, neck and other parts of your body.
• Before touching the metal parts of the unit,
let them cool down.
• Never use the unit if the power cord, plug
is damaged; if the unit malfunctions or af-
ter it fell into water. Apply to the authorized
service centre for repair.
• The unit is intended for household usage
only.

• Unwind the power cord completely.
• Insert the plug into the socket.
• Switch on the unit, by setting the switch (3)
to the “ON”position, the operating indica-
tor (2) will light up.
• Wait for several minutes, until the unit heats
up.
After usage set the switch (3) to the “OFF”
position and take the plug out of the sock-
et.
straiGHteninG Hair
• To get the best results of straightening,
hair should be clean and dry.
• Divide the hair into locks not wider than 4
cm.
• Put a lock between the hot plates and
press them together.
• Hold for several seconds and move the unit
along the whole length of a lock, slightly
pressing the plates.
• Repeat the procedure until you finish
straightening all your hair.
cLeaninG and Maintenance
• Before cleaning, unplug the unit and let it
cool down completely.
• Do not immerse the unit into water or other
liquids.
• Wipe the outer surface of the body and the
operating plates with a soft damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasives and solvents for
cleaning the unit.
storaGe
• Let the unit cool down completely and
make sure that the body is dry before tak-
ing it away.
• Do not wind the cord around the body of
the unit; it may cause damages to the unit.
• Store the unit in a dry cool place, out of
reach of children.
