Buttons
On some Pages there are labelled Buttons for
making selections. In most cases this will be to select the Preset
whose settings you wish to change. For example, see
Figure C-2.
On the Main Page, the labelled Buttons are used to control
communication between your PC and the Strata RX, and to
execute loading and saving settings. See Figure C-1.
Greyed-out Buttons
If the action controlled by that Button is
unavailable, the Button label will appear in grey. For example, in
Figure C-1 the Buttons
Load Settings from Radio
and
Program Radio
are grey, because the Configurator has not yet
connected to an RX, so there is no radio to communicate with.
Similarly, in Figure C-2, the Preset selections 4 - 9 are grey,
because in this radio Presets 4 - 9 are configured for analog
operation, so there are no MPEG settings to be made.
Dynamic Button Labels
When you click on a labelled Button to
execute some action, the label on the Button changes to keep
you apprised of the status. For example, in Figure C-3, when the
Load Settings from Radio
Button is clicked, its label changes to
Loading
while the settings are loading, then changes back when
the loading is complete.
Similarly, in Figure C-4 the
Load Page
button changes to
Loading
when clicked, and returns to
Load Page
when loading
is complete.
The Configurator provides two separate progress bars.
•
The Radio/File Progress Bar is located above the
Load
Settings from File
button in the upper left area of the
screen. See Figure C-3.
This Progress Bar is displayed when you are Loading or
Saving Settings to a File, or Loading or Programming
Settings for the entire radio.
•
The Page Progress Bar is located above the Load Page
button in the lower right area of the screen. See
Figure C-4.
This Progress Bar is displayed when you are Loading or
Programming a single page of settings.
