d. The 201ER connects and communicates with WAN via ATM. The 201ER has the capability of defining

s (Virtual Circuit). You can configure ATM parameters for each virtual circuit which do not affect
other virtual circuits. The screen that appears depends on the VC you selected.

Definitions
VPI:
The number of the Virtual Path Identifier in the VPI field.
VCI:
The number of the Virtual Circuit Identifier in the VCI field.
IP Address:
This is the IP address of the WAN interface of the selected virtual circuit (provided by your
ISP). When using PPPoE or PPPoA, this field is not used.
WAN Gateway:
The WAN Default Gateway is provided by your ISP, which is the host IP address that transfers
your data to the Internet. When using PPPoE and PPPoA, this field is not used.
