5.3 TRANSMISSION OF PROGRAM CHANGE MESSAGES
For each of the 12 combinations it is possible to assign a Program Change number and enable the
transmission of the relative MIDI message each time the combination is recalled.
To store a Program Change to be transmitted on one or more of the MIDI channels managed by the
instrument, follow this procedure:
1.
Press and hold the [TRANSPOSER] button until all the LEDs on the panel flash twice, with the
LED on the [TRANSPOSER] button flashing continuously.
2.
Press down the first register from the left (also indicated by PG screen printing) in the Manual I
section.
3.
Select the combination in which you want to store the Program Change (No. 1 is preselected).
At each combination selection, the registers in the Manual I section indicate the Program Change
present, according to the numbers shown in serigraphy under the registers (see also point 3 of par.
5.2).
The registers in the Bass section, on the other hand, show whether or not the program change is
enabled on the channel associated with the section shown by the screen printing under the
registers (see also par. 5.2). When the register is turned on, the Program Change is sent on the
channel of the relative section; when the register is turned off, the Program Change is not
transmitted.
4.
Using the registers in the Manual I section with screen printed numbers, compose the number of
the Program Change you want to save, keeping in mind that it must always be composed of three
digits. For example, if you want to enter the number "27", press the registers "0","2" and "7".
When the third digit is entered, the first register in the Manual I section flashes for a few moments
to confirm that it has been saved.
5.
It is possible to insert Program Change in any of the 12 combinations, without leaving the
procedure. Once the programming is complete, press [TRANSPOSER] twice to return to normal
use of the instrument.
6.
Press the [TRANSPOSER] button to complete and store the operation.
