Opening the door with a code
Turn on the reader by pressing BACK. The display will show:
Use
the arrow buttons e to move the cursor to the digit to be entered, press
OK to confirm and the code will be displayed on the second line.
After entering all the digits of the code, move the cursor to the letter “E” and
press OK to open the door.
If the cursor is moved to the letter “C” and OK is pressed, the code entered up to
that point will be reset.
Recognition of the code releases the mechanism that allows the safe/cabinet to be
opened by turning the knob. The display will show:
turn the knob one quarter of a turn in a clockwise direction and open the door.
If the code is not recognised the system will automatically switch off and it is
necessary to start from the beginning again.
Note: if the knob is not turned within a few seconds, the mechanism is
blocked for safety reasons and the safe/cabinet remains closed. To open
it, it is necessary to start from the beginning again.
Note: it is possible to replace the numbers with asterisks (ATM style), using the
Hide Code function (see page 82).
