9.4 Settings
9.4.1 VoIP
This page contains two areas: the SIP configuration area and the Trusted certificates area.
The SIP configuration area in the upper part allows to configure the parameters needed for receiving/placing calls
from/to any SIP device:
•
SIP ID: Identifier string. It’s a mandatory parameter.
•
Authentication ID:
Authentication string normally not required by the SIP server. It’s an optional parameter that
can be left blank.
•
Password: Password string. It’s a mandatory parameter.
•
SIP domain:
Domain name or IP address of the SIP server. It’s a mandatory parameter.
• SIP protocol: Transport protocol used for encapsulating the SIP data. It’s a radio button that with the following
values:
• UDP
• TCP
• TLS. When this option is selected, an encrypted channel is established between the device and the SIP server.
Notice that when this option is selected the next field,
TLS verify rules
, becomes enabled.
• TLS verify rules: Indicates how the verification process of the SIP server occurs:
• CA: Verifies the server’s certificate using the CA certificates that are present on the device.
•
CN: Verify that the SIP server domain name is contained in the CA certificates that are present on the device.
The certificates can be uploaded in the Trusted certificates area in the lower part of the page.
• SIP port: IP port of the SIP server. Valid values are from 1024 to 65535. It defaults to 5060.
• Outbound proxy: Domain name or IP address of the outbound proxy server.
