8.8 Touch buttons
This screen allows to configure the behavior of the touch buttons. It contains two parts, a left area that is a column
with the icons of the touch buttons. When the icon of a touch button in this area is selected, the main area at the right
shows the options that can be configured for that specific touch button.
The first and second touch buttons cannot be configured, therefore they’re not shown in this screen.
The third button, also called
Calling management center
, can be configured to establish a call to another indoor
monitor.
For example, assume that there are another two indoor monitors in a small building; when this button is selected, the
main area shows the following options with a radio button so only one can be chosen:

None
•
Indoor monitor A
•
Indoor monitor B
If
Indoor monitor A
is chosen, when pressing the touch button a call is established to this indoor monitor.
If
None
is chosen and there is only one indoor monitor, the call is started automatically when pressing the button.
In any other case the
Calls
screen is displayed so the user can make a call using the dial pad or directly select the
indoor monitor from the left column.
The established call can be finished by pressing again the same touch button.
In the image below there is only one item that is selected, therefore a call is started automatically when pressing the
touch button:
The fourth button, also called
Monitoring
, can be configured to execute a self-start call to an external panel or to
receive a video streaming from a camera.
For example, assume that there is one entrance to the building complex and two CCTV cameras; when this button is
selected, the main area shows the following options with a radio button so only one can be chosen:

None
•
Entrance A
•
Camera A
•
Camera B
If
Camera A
is chosen, when pressing the touch button the video streaming from
Camera A
will be displayed.
If
None
is chosen and there is only one external panel or CCTV camera, the self-start call or the video streaming is
started automatically when pressing the button.
In any other case the touch button is disabled and no call or streaming takes places.
The established call can be finished by pressing again the same touch button.
Notice that for establishing a self-start call or receiving a video streaming, the corresponding external panel or the
camera must have been previously configured in the
Contacts list
.
In the image below there are two IP cams and two external panels and of them is selected, therefore when pressing
the touch button an auto-start call will be established to the Main entrance external panel:
