INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE & CARE
Congratulations on the purchase of your vivo | Villeroy & Boch cast iron fondue set.
We hope you will enjoy the use of this cookware for a very long time.
The next tips will help you use the fondue set in the best way to maintain the
durability and quality of this product for the longest time.
Please read the instructions and warnings carefully before use to ensure safe and
satisfactory operation of this product. We advise you to keep the use & care manual
for future reference.

BEFORE FIRST USE AND EVERY USE THEREAFTER
• Remove all packaging material and stickers from the product.
• Rinse the fondue pan thoroughly with warm water and dry well.
• Apply some vegetable oil to the inside and the rim of the pan.
Preheat the empty pan on your stove for several minutes at low temperature.
• Leave the pan to cool off and remove the leftover oil with some kitchen paper.
• Your product is now ready to use.
USE & CARE AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Always heat up an enamelled cast iron pan slowly and gradually.
• The fondue pan is suitable for all heat sources including induction. The use of the
induction ‘booster’ function is not recommended, since this will heat up the pan
too quickly.
• Pan holder and accessories are not suitable to use in the oven or on any other
heat source.
• We advise to preheat the filled pan on a stove. The heating up on the burner of
the fondue set will take considerably longer.
• When using induction, please ensure the diameter of your pan matches the size
of the induction hob cooking area.
• When using a gas stove, make sure the flame stays under the pan bottom and is
not ‘leaking’ over the pan body.
• Make sure the pan is completely dry when filling it with oil. Fill up the pan to a
maximum of below mentioned quantity.
