OPERATION
General
•
Never operate the machine with defective guards, or without safety devices.
•
Do not put hands or feet near or under rotating parts.
•
Never pick up or carry the machine while the motor is running.
•
Remove (or Operate) the On/Off switch from the machine before clearing a blockage;
before checking, cleaning or working on the machine; after striking a foreign object to
inspect the machine for damage; if the machine starts to vibrate abnormally, and to
check for damage before restarting.
•
Objects thrown by the product could hit the user or other people. Always ensure that
other people or pets remain in a safe distance from the product when it is in operation.
Do not use the machine if you know that there are pets, children or people in the
mowing area.
•
Do not use the lawn mower if the outer casing is damaged. The blade may accidently
cut you or you may be injured by debris thrown off by the blades.
•
Never attempt to tamper with the lawn mower. It can cause an accident.
When use or install
•
It is recommended that you should not operate the machine in rainy weather.
•
Do not operate the machine when barefoot or wearing open sandals. Always wear
substantial footwear and long trousers.
•
Always be sure of your footing on slopes.
•
Use extreme caution when reversing the machine towards you.
•
Always switch on the motor according to the instructions in this manual with feet well
away from the blade(s).
Maintenance and storage
•
Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight to be sure the machine is in safe working
condition.
•
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
•
Ensure that only original replacement cutting means of the right type are used.
•
Ensure that batteries are charged using the correct charger recommended by the
manufacturer. Incorrect use may result in electric shock, overheating or leakage of
corrosive liquid from the battery.
•
In the case of leakage of electrolyte flush with water/neutralizing agent, seek medical
help if it comes into contact with the eyes.
•
Servicing of the machine must be according to manufacturer´s instructions.
