: Maximum Wiegand run length is 300 feet using 24 gauge wire. Run length is reduced to half if two share
the same wire run from the same
C-4000
entry point. Run lengths can be doubled by doubling up on the BLACK
and RED 24 gauge wire, or using 21 gauge (or larger) wire. Certain electrically noisy locations might require
shielded wire.
