9.
Operation
After installation as per instructions given in the user guide, the system is ready to use. When the
system is powered on, after initializing the system, it becomes ready to accept input from the
user.
9.1
Arming the system
Arming is nothing but enabling the system for alerting the user against security breaches /
emergencies. While stepping out of the building or premises, user has to arm the system to
activate the security zones.
To
ARM
the system, press
All Arm
key, or user also can
arm
the system
through key fob, for this
key fob should be learn by the user.
Now the system enters in to
Exit delay
interval mode. During this interval system does not
activate the alarm and allows user to exit from the premises.
When the Exit delay is over, system gets
armed
.
Once the system is
armed
, it puts on
Arm
LED indicator on front panel.
Alarm condition
: While system is
armed
, and if any delayed zone becomes open, system sends
alert. Then Alarm buzzer beeps after entry delay of that zone is over.
Arm
: This option
arm
all the sensors of zones which are in the premises.
9.2
Disarming the system
Disarming is nothing but disabling the system in order to deactivate the zones in
Arm
condition or
in
Alarm
condition. When user makes a valid re-entry in the premises or in response to the
system alert, user has to disarm the system.
To
Disarm
the system, press
Disarm
key.
Enter valid password.
User can
disarm
the system by pressing
Disarm (unlock)
key on key fob.
After disarming, buzzer stops if it is on. Once the system is disarmed, it puts off the LED indicator
on the front panel.
Note
: In the disarmed condition, gas / smoke / fire zones are always active.
9.3
Perimeter Arm the system
To
Perimeter Arm
the system, press
PeriArm
key.
Peri
: This option
arms
all
PERIMETER
zones. Perimeter zones are wired or wireless sensors
outside the building but within the premises.
