When the Comm. Test is activated by pressing 

MENU 1

 key, LCD 

shows first status message. 

 

 

After sending the SMS display shows SMS Sending status as 

success OR fail. If SMS sending is successful, LCD shows success 

message. 

 

 

If SMS sending is fail, LCD shows fail message. 

 

 

After that system dials first voice reporting number and LCD shows 

dialing status. 

 

 

After dialing the number system shows ringing status. Call 

received for first reporting number. 

 

 

After receiving this call, LCD shows Call connected status. 

 

 

Then system starts playing prerecorded voice message and LCD 

shows the status. 

 

 

After voice message is finished, system disconnects the call and 

LCD shows status comm. test success or fail. Press 

ESC 

key to exit 

from this menu. 

 

 

If test fails, call is not connected then LCD shows comm. test fail 

status. 

 

5.5  Configuration by sending SMS 

5.5.2  Voice Record and Playback by SMS  

Note

: Ensure whether SIM card is inserted in to the system and unit is powered ON. 

 

To record voice message 

1.

 

Open the new message window in your mobile handset. 

2.

 

Type 

#123VR1* 

and send the SMS.  

3.

 

Unit will call back. Receive the call. 

4.

 

Start speaking for recording the alert message. At the end of recording the two buzzer beeps 

are heard.  

Note:

 If system does not call back, check GSM range of the system. If it is below 25%, call 

will not be connected.
