5.
Configuring GSM
Note
: This section only applicable when product is V-COP GOLD-GSM.
In case of emergency, the system reports alarm condition to configured numbers with the help of
GSM technology (Global System for Mobile communications).
VCOP reports using voice calls to landline or mobile numbers. It also reports pre-formatted text
messages using SMS to mobile numbers. User can configure up to 20 numbers (10 voice numbers
and 10 sms numbers). User can record voice message for 16 seconds in the desired language. This
message plays back when VCOP dials voice numbers for alarm reporting.
To select

key. Enter the pin for the desired user. Then LCD appears
as shown below.

5.1 Voice number configuration
The system allows configuring 10 voice numbers one after another. The number can be mobile or
landline number. The number not to be exceeded more than 15 digit including country code, and
start with country code (‘
91
’ for India). In case of landline number, country code is followed by for
example city code (‘
20
’ for Pune) and actual landline number.
