Maintenance mode can be activated after consulting
your heating contractor, to prepare for servicing. This
enables the heating contractor to begin the service
without delay. It is recommended to start the process
at least 2 hours prior to servicing.
In maintenance mode, the fuel cell is shut down.
Power and heat generation is switched OFF.

Checking parameters for the mains monitor (ENS)
Mains monitor settings and fault memory checking to
display mains faults can only be performed directly on
the fuel cell. Contact your heating contractor.
System characteristics during a mains fault
In case of a mains fault (e.g. power cut), the mains
monitor (ENS) of the micro CHP system automatically
disconnects it from the grid. Power export is interrup-
ted.
No fault message is displayed.
If the mains fault is present for less than 60 seconds,
power export automatically resumes within 10 minutes.
If the mains fault is present for more than 60 seconds,
the fuel cell of the micro CHP system shuts down.
Provided the mains fault is no longer present, power
generation by the micro CHP system automatically
resumes 24 hours after its last start. Fuel cell shut-
downs due to the same mains fault on 7 consecutive
days indicate that a permanent mains instability may
be present.
This can have an adverse effect the characteristics of
the micro CHP system. In this special case, power
generation by the micro CHP system does not auto-
matically resume and a fault message is displayed.
