Danger
Contact with live components can lead to seri-
ous injury from electric current.
■
Never touch
the terminal areas for the heat
pump control unit or power supply; see
page 31.
■
When working on the appliance, isolate the
system from the power supply, e.g. at a sepa-
rate MCB/fuse or a mains isolator. Check the
system is no longer live and safeguard against
reconnection.
Danger
The absence of component earthing can result
in serious injury from electrical current and in
component damage in the event of an electrical
fault.
Restore all earth connections.
!
Please note
Commissioning immediately after installation
can lead to appliance damage.
Wait
at least 30 min
between installing and
commissioning the appliance.
Note
Work on the refrigerant circuit may only be carried out
by qualified refrigeration engineers. Work on electrical
equipment may only be carried out by qualified electri-
cians.
1.
Remove top panel; see page 49.
2.
When work is complete, close the heat pump; see
page 48.
Regarding commissioning this appliance, see
also the operating instructions.
Writing reports
Enter readings taken during commissioning (described
below) into the reports. For logs, see page 72
onwards.
Checking the refrigerant circuit for leaks
Check the floor area, valves and all visible solder joints
for traces of oil.
Note
Traces of oil indicate a leak in the refrigerant circuit.
Have your heat pump checked over by a refrigeration
engineer.
Filling and venting on the primary side
!
Please note
Commissioning when the primary circuit is
empty causes appliance damage.
Charge and vent the primary circuit before con-
necting the power supply.
1.
Check the Victaulic connections in the heat pump
for tightness. The Victaulic couplings must be form-
locked and fitted together seamlessly.
2.
Check the pre-charge pressure of the expansion
vessel.
