Service/Setup Menu
For the vast majority of installations, the VHD Controller remote control gives you all the
control you need over display quality settings. However, there are two settings internal to
the PlasmaView VHD that can improve the displayed image quality on INPUT 1: VID NR (noise
reduction) and MPEG FILTER. These settings can be found in the Setup Menu, shown in
Figure A-2.

Video NR (Noise Reduction)
To apply Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) to the input signal, select Video NR from the Set-Up
menu. Noise reduction is useful for improving the signal-to-noise ratio of video signals.
To change the Noise Reduction setting on INPUT 1:

to switch to PlasmaView VHD INPUT 1.

on the PlasmaView VHD Service Remote Control.
