4.1
Turning on the Power
1.
Turn on your source components.
2.
Plug the female end of the power cord into
the AC receptacle on the rear of the
PlasmaView VHD. Connect the other end to
your AC power source.
3.
Similarly connect the VHD Controller to a
nearby AC outlet.

Set the main power switch at the rear of the PlasmaView VHD (see Figure 2-2) to the “on”
position. Its power indicator lights red.
5.
Set the main power switch at the rear of the VHD Controller (see Figure 2-4) to the “on”
position.
6.
Press the
ON
button on the remote control to turn
on the VHD Controller and PlasmaView VHD (or
press the power button on the front of the VHD
Controller). The power indicator on the VHD
Controller lights solid blue.
7.
After a brief warm-up period (approximately 10
seconds), the PlasmaView VHD will display an
image.
The fluorescent display indicates the active source, signal format (NTSC or PAL), input
resolution and aspect ratio; for example:
